AKTAFLOC 26-A flocculant is based on an acrylamide and acrylic acid copolymer. This polymeric material, which is supplied as a white powder, can be used to precipitate suspended particles in water and industrial wastewater. The very high molecular weight of this polymer, along with its anionic percentage, causes particles to be attracted to the polymer chains, resulting in the formation of heavy flocs that settle easily and rapidly precipitate suspended particles in water. This flocculant is the most common suitable material for use in settling particles from the wastewater of various industries.
