Description

Flocculant 56-A is a copolymer of acrylamide and acrylic acid. This polymeric material, which is supplied as an off-white powder, can be used to precipitate suspended particles in water and industrial wastewater. The very high molecular weight of this polymer, along with its anionic groups, causes particles to be attracted to the polymer chains, resulting in the formation of heavy flocs that settle easily and rapidly precipitate suspended particles in water.
