Description
The laboratory foulard device is used for padding various fabrics with dye or finishing solutions. It features horizontally positioned rollers, allowing the dye or finishing solution to be poured directly into the gap between the two rollers. The fabric passes through the solution in the nip of the rollers and exits with a specified pickup percentage. Two Teflon holders on either side of the rollers create a trough-like space to hold the solution. Teflon blades, operated by a pneumatic switch, open and close to facilitate material discharge and easy roller cleaning.

Safety features: Bars prevent the user’s hand from being pulled into the roller gap; a knee-activated pressure switch stops the device and separates the rollers. An emergency stop button is included on the control panel.

Equipped with a water spray gun for cleaning the roller surfaces.

Includes an air gun for drying the rollers after cleaning, speeding up consecutive tests.

Powered by a 0.37 kW single-phase AEG motor with an LS SV004 inverter, adjusting roller speed from 0 to 28 RPM.
